TBH, I see star as a female version of Goku from Dragon Ball. Think about it, they're both energetic and rowdy, they both like to fight, and they both have their own flying cloud to use as transportation. Not to mention they're super forms are both gold and gives Star the ability to fly.


Now, they DO have their own differences, for one, Goku is a grown adult, from an anime, and he is a Martial Artist, kinda like Marco Diaz. Star, on the other hand, is a teenager, a character from a cartoon, and fights with magic.



Edit: Also, Star is a bit more altruistic, while Goku got hit in the head too much to remember what "love" is.
